Dr. Sonnenschein specializes in echocardiography (he is an Adult Echocardiography Registered Vascular Technologist) and noninvasive peripheral vascular imaging. He is past Director of Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound Imaging at Hillcrest Medical Center and Oklahoma Heart Institute and serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine – Tulsa. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, where he also completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency programs. Dr. Sonnenschein received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
