OHI Adds New Metro Location

Oklahoma Heart Institute has maintained the mission of providing excellent cardiac care to patients in Oklahoma since opening the doors March of 1989.  With the largest dedicated heart hospital in Oklahoma, the first in Tulsa to perform cutting edge life-saving procedures, and the region’s first dedicated inpatient and outpatient heart failure center, OHI sets the standard.  Today, through a distinguished team of nationally recognized physicians, along with the latest in technology and advancements in cardiology, OHI brings expertise and superior care to more patients in Tulsa with a second metro location at Hillcrest Hospital South (formerly SouthCrest Hospital).

“Oklahoma Heart Institute has now expanded to Hillcrest South Hospital with new state of the art Catherization Laboratories and dedicated Cardiologists,” shares OHI Chief of Cardiology, Dr. Wayne Leimbach.   “This provides South Tulsans easy access to expert care, latest technologies, and the excellence for which Oklahoma Heart Institute is known,” Dr. Leimbach adds.
