About Aubrey Rodden, PA-C
Aubrey Rodden, PA-C, specializes in endocrinology at Oklahoma Heart Institute. Aubrey said, “After experiencing my own medical challenges, I felt called to pursue medicine so I could be the kind of provider I once needed, which is someone who listens and advocates for my patients.”
Aubrey’s fascination and passion for endocrinology began from the moment she was introduced to it. She said, “After completing my endocrinology rotation, I truly fell in love with the specialty. I chose endocrinology because I value patient education and the opportunity to build long-term relationships. While many of the conditions we treat may be similar from day to day, each patient requires a unique, individualized treatment plan, which I find incredibly rewarding.”
When it comes to connecting with her patients, Aubrey does her best to listen to each person’s journey to get a clear understanding of where they are currently. “By meeting patients where they are and truly seeing things from their perspective, I focus on helping patients identify and overcome obstacles in a way that feels realistic and supportive,” Aubrey said.
A positive reminder that Aubrey likes to pass on is that, “Small progress is meaningful because any step forward is better than no progress at all.”
Her professional areas of interest include staying up to date on emerging treatments and advancements in endocrinology, so patients always have access to the best care.
When Aubrey isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs, volunteering with dog rescues, running and reading.
