About Courtney Schrader, APRN-CNP
Courtney said her inspiration to pursue a career in medicine started at a young age. Her driven commitment to lifelong learning and helping others is what kept up her motivation throughout the years to continue her journey.
“My decision to specialize in sleep medicine was influenced by the importance of sleep itself and managing sleep disorders. Treatment is vital for overall health, well-being and quality of life,” she said.
Courtney’s relationships with her patients are based on the foundation of trust. She said, “Building trusting relationships with my patients is essential to providing effective health care. I make sure I take the time to connect and listen to each patient's concerns and use shared decision making by educating them and making sure they are involved in their health care.”
Courtney likes to remind patients to be proactive in their health journey. “Your health is one of your most valuable assets. Only you can make a change,” she added.
When Courtney isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling and shopping.

This was my first appointment following my sleep test that occurred on Jan.25, 2025. I took a list of questions with me. Courtney answered all of my questions and provided insight to details pertaining to my sleep study itself.

PA Schraeder was awesome. She took the time to talk to me, never made me feel hurried, I absolutely loved her. She explained everything to me in detail. We need more like her!!!

Courtney took extra care in showing me the data from my CPAP & explained what her concerns were from the data. She explained what I need to improve on for my CPAP therapy & took time to thoroughly explain plus when I asked for a copy, she took the time to write notes for me on the report. She was outstanding & shared her concerns in away the was very relatable.
