Patient Reviews for Gregory D. Johnsen, M.D.
-
Dr. Johnsen is an excellent doctor!
-
All those involved in my treatment were exceptional. I will recommend anyone go to them for their care. I have had heart surgery and would be comfortable using Dr. Johnsen.
-
I think the best thing is he knew our chart from the past and asked us questions with that history in mind. It really made me feel like he care about mom and I and that he was actually present and helpful unlike so many drs of today. I have to tell them the same thing over and over so now its just a habit plus he was trying to read the chart in front of us paying attention to the ipad he was totally focused on us! That was very nice. I know its unusual because I felt it when I was there I waslike wow we found our dr!
-

-
I love Okla Heart.
-
Although I have been coming there for several years I get the feeling each visit that I am a new patient.
-
Explanation of treatment plan in terms so the treatment is understood.
-
Felt the Dr. Was excellent at checking out my problems and worked to make sure all my health problems would be covered
-
Dr Greg Johnsen was super in every way. Thrilled with him.
-
When I told Dr. Johnsen about my low blood pressure he asked me if I was taking Verapamil daily. I told him that I was. He had his nurse/assistant explore the possibility of a lower dosage. None existed, so he asked if I could cut the pills in half. I do have a device that does that. He suggested just taking half a pill or take it every other day.
-
He seemed hurried. Unlike previous heart Dr. I might have told him about the few incidents of higher than normal BP In the morning. And my stress level.
-
He did not appear interested in what I had to say. I had questions that I did not get to ask. Appt lasted about 2 minutes!
-
Dr. Johnsen was knowledgeable and very straight forward in answering my questions. He gave me all the information I needed to move forward and take care of my health needs. He gave me a huge peace of mind in knowing it wasn't heart related and what direction to go to resolve my problem. I am very appreciative.
-
Dr. Johnsen was very engaged and concerned for me. He explained his findings and treatment plan in a way that I could easily understand. He asked for my input and respected my ideas. Dr. Johnsen does not rush me and makes me feel valued as a person. I understood his advice and the printed "after visit summary."
-
Once he found out that I didn't want to start blood thinners, it seemed that he mentally checked out.
-
Very personable and caring. Great experience. Listen to my concerns and took action.
